Run a load test on Sync 1.5 stage with MariaDB 5.5.41 and TokuDB 7.5.3.  There are a number of bug fixes, and performance improvements available.  See the change logs here:

Determine if this resolves problem in Bug 1057892.

This is something we can do while he's away.  Also, depending on how well this goes.  I'd like to run a follow on load test with a slight change in DB schema, using clustering indexes, to make a comparison.  If we have the time and inclination next week.  I would make a separate ticket for that.
