1. Open https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/keyboard-shortcuts-perform-firefox-tasks-quickly
2. Hit [Tab] until the cursor is in the search field
3. Hit [Tab] once more

ER:
some indication focus is on the magnifier icon that lets you search

AR:
no focus indication

2.0 Hit [Tab] "Skip to main content" Link available #main-content
2.1 Hit [Tab] "Switch Languages" Link available https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/locales
2.3 Hit [Tab] "Skip to search" Link available #search-q
2.3.1 Click "Skip to search" Focus moves to search field, and cursor blinks

3.0 Hit [Tab] until top edge, menu items, have all had focus 
3.1 Hit [Tab] Focus moves to Search field again & cursor blinks

Just noting that there are two opportunities to search.

I am unable to reproduce this issue anymore (maybe it was fixed along the way by some UI updates).
