Updated Visual Spec https://mozilla.box.com/s/gpijv051aeivyoxcz72a
Bug 1117968 made the search window background always opaque, as per the new visual design https://mozilla.box.com/s/gpijv051aeivyoxcz72a This brings up bug 1060577 again and it has been suggested that we revert to a translucent design.

Eric, would you like to provide a new version of the spec to clarify what the behaviour should be?

(In reply to Ben Francis [:benfrancis] from comment #1) > Eric, would you like to provide a new version of the spec to clarify what > the behaviour should be? Hey Ben, I've updated the spec and added the link in the user story. I haven't created a new motion since it's only an update be colour/opacity. Let me know if there are any questions or if a motion is needed. https://mozilla.box.com/s/gpijv051aeivyoxcz72a I think this will really help with the harsh transition, please flag me on ui-review when ready :). Thanks!

I think this was done at some point now that the initial entry continues to be transparent? I believe the current implementation is to spec, but please re-open if it's not.
