112877 - Restarting browser after installing a new language pack resets theme to Classic

I've seen this several times now with 0.9.6 builds:
1) Make sure you are using Modern theme or just anothe theme except classic
2) View | Languages and Web content | Download more
3) download a language pack for this build version
4) Close the browser (as well as quicklaunch if enabled)
5) Restart the browser

Result: It starts with classic theme
Expected result: it should not switch theme

which langpack you installed? Is there a link to it?

Hmm,  I can't even download a new pack.  The download button on:
http://home.netscape.com/computing/download/languagepacks_62.html doesn't start
the download.  In fact, it does nothing.  How did you download the pack you used
for testing?

For downloading alternate language packs, see the link I just added. You can get
to it by using the menu View | Languages and Content | Download more... in
Mozilla. Then you get to the link
http://www.mozilla.org/projects/l10n/mlp_status.html#contrib . For those who are
afraid of having menus which they don't understand, you might try the Scots
language pack, which is basically English with some Scottish accent ;-)

Answer to Comment #2 from tao, I installed the German and the Scots language
pack. Sorry for the late response.

The chrome system has changed significantly since the 6.2 series.
Jimmy, could you verify this one too?

Works fine with N7.0PR1 English version and using N7.0PR1 Japanese langpack.
