Steps to reproduce:

Installed Firefox OS on a Nexus S. Searched WiFi networks, and some are showing. But not my home networks.

Actual results:

On every other device (Android, Mac, iPhone etc) it is no problem to 'see' the home WiFi network. I does not matter how far away from the router I am, it just won't show my own networks in the list to choose from (i.e. the device can't 'see' the network).
There are some networks available from homes in the street. I attached a picture to show the difference between a Sony Xperia Z1 and the Firefox OS Nexus S device. The picture is taken in front of the router. The network to look for is So4928. Of course I tried manually adding it as if it was a hidden network, but that didn't help either.
I have multiple networks in my router, and Firefox OS can't 'see' any of them.

Expected results:

The device should correctly show the available WiFi networks, so I can choose and connect to the right one.
Could it be the different wifi frequencies, that differ from USA and Europe? I think band 13 is not available in the USA. Will check on what frequency the router currently works.
Firefox OS is not being worked on
