Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:32.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/32.0
Build ID: 20140925003805

Steps to reproduce:

After searching for an add-on, trying to scroll the search results page horizontally with the keyboard in Firefox results in unwanted page loads. This makes the site inaccessible to keyboard operation in small windows or on devices with small displays where horizontal scrolling is needed for navigation.

Overriding standard browser keys is extremely user-hostile.

1. Go to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/# with a desktop version of Firefox in a small window; perform an add-on search which results in more than one page of results
2. Attempt to scroll with the left/right arrow keys

Actual results:

Page reloads with a new page of results without scrolling.

Expected results:

The page should have scrolled horizontally with no unrequested reloads. Or, it should at least be possible through some obvious mechanism to scroll the page horizontally when needed.
