The new search preferences support drag and drop to change the order of the search engines in the new search field. It's also possible to edit keywords by double cliking in the keyword row.

That's great, but there are support requests like "how to change the order of the search engines?" because it's not obvious.

I suggest to add one or two sentences above the search engines list to explain these two features.

Is that something that could be considered for the design refresh? Just add one sentence to explain these really great features because it's not obvious that these features exist.

This could be a nice suggestion for usability. Adding a hint for search engines tree component to tell user how to re-arrange or double-click to edit keyword.

I'm not sure if the dragging and dropping to change the order and double cliking in the keyword row features are new since they existed in the old org preferences.

These are no new features. I opened this ticket already two years ago. But it was never implemented and there was never a comment whether this should be done or not. And since you're working on a refresh of the preferences I thought it's the best time to do this (or to say it should not be done). ;)

It's definitely not obvious because I've never noticed that we have this pro-tip for one-click search engines!
I personally think that the entire section should be redesigned. However, adding a description has relatively less effort for 57, so I'll ask the content team if they can help on that.

I wanted to ask again if that is something that could be considered because it would be great for the discoverability of these great features and really low effort to implement.
