Details

(Keywords: html5, Whiteboard: [platform-rel-Youtube])

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:37.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/37.0
Build ID: 20150326190726

Steps to reproduce:

After downloading Firefox 37 to new computer I noticed that I am unable to play any youtube videos. After few hours of trying to pinpoint bug I realised it was problem with playing html5, as when I downloaded older firefox version (36) everything is working fine as long as I dont enable HTML5 on youtube.

Disabling media.fragmented-mp4.enabled in about:config makes videos work on youtube again, but not on Vine. Problem probably is H.264.

Additionaly, I created Ubuntu system on virtualbox and there everything is working fine, so it seems not to be hardware issue.
As main system I run Windows 7 Professional N.

Actual results:

On youtube, after starting video buffering wheel will spin forever. On vine videos will simply not play.

Expected results:

Videos should play.

This issue seems to have just appeared in 37.x. I am also seeing it very consistently in 37.0.1 on certain videos.
