STR 1. scroll the message pane in Thunderbird Aurora 39.0a2 (2015-04-02) for a while (usually occurs within 10 seconds or so) ACTUAL RESULTS The scrollbar button is painted inverted briefly -- see attached screen capture (this is the lower-right part of the window). I can reproduce it both by clicking the scrollbar buttons or by dragging the scrollbar thumb up and down. I've just updated Thunderbird to 39 and it occurred within minutes and is quite reproducible. I'm also a Firefox Nightly user but I've never seen the problem there. I'm using Ubuntu x86-64. I'm guessing a Graphics problem, but feel free to reassign...

I've never seen it before in Thunderbird, so I'm guessing it's a regression in 39.

Nevermind, it's not a regression. I tried the following comm-central builds: 2015-03-02-03-02-26 (39) 2015-02-01-03-02-05 (38) 2015-01-03-03-02-12 (37) and I can reproduce it in all of them. I think the problem is caused by something in the latest Ubuntu security updates, which I applied earlier today. Feel free to close the bug if you want...
