Two examples:

https://addons.mozilla.org/addon/adblock-plus/statistics/downloads/sources/?last=365
^ discovery-promo lacks stats for the mentioned period (2014-06-11 - 2014-10-21) and the Unknown (source) graph stopped counting altogether on Oct 20 (2014-10-20).

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/6898/statistics/downloads/sources/?last=365
^ Browse Listing Users Sort lacks stats and Unknown also stopped counting on Oct 20.
My guess is that there was a corresponding rise in Addons manager at that point, suggesting that some traffic was coming in as unknown when it should have been addons manager.

Not sure what to do with the old metrics data though.
