If I would like to call someone from MOZILLA I should not be forced to search the entire contact list. I should be able to filter them out to only show contacts from a specific company.

Thanks for filing this bug. I have some trouble to know what behavior you want to have. Do you want to:
first, select a company and then type your search within this set of contacts? If so, how could you choose a company?

If not, one way to currently achieve it is to type "Mozilla" in the search bar (in the contact app) and then type the name of the contact.

yes

I rarely type. I prefer to tap. But I should be able to search -- within the refined ist -- by typing a search keyword, too, like you said.

From a select box of all known companies -- a full list of companies picked from existing contacts.

Not good, I have bad memory and after some point (when I get many contacts) I will want to search for a query string AND within a certain company.
