If PSM is not installed, it is impossible to submit a form (e.g., by clicking
the submit button). Although I've included an example URL for the my yahoo
login, it doesn't seem to work with any forms.

Expected result: The form should be submitted. Alternately, if PSM is a
requirement for using forms, a dialog should inform the user of this fact.

You are using an old version.
You get a warning with 0.9.7 : "Unkown Socket Type" or something like this.
The wording will changed later....

PSM= Personal Security Manager and without PSM you can't visit HTTPS (SSL) pages

I'm fine marking this as a duplicate of 47167, but the bug I reported here does
not involve HTTPS as far as I can tell, which seems to be the main thrust of 47167.

The bug I am reporting seems even more serious (or at least more far reaching):
Forms cannot be submitted succesfully without PSM installed. It seems odd that
support for s/mime, SSL, personal certificates and so on is required in order to
submit -any- form.
