We should disable the overscroll in Rocketbar, it looks weird. It can be triggered on the screen shown in the attachment. What do you think Eric?

I agree, it feels really strange. I think the scroll is needed so the user can navigate the string but not the overscoll stretch effect. Kevin, can you help remove the overscroll from the Rocketbar or point me to someone who can? Thanks! (leaving need info on myself to keep track of this bug)

Hey Kevin, any updates on this? - Changing need info to your Mozilla email!

I guess we should probably not apply the overscroll effects to input fields? This seems like it might break consistency though, so I'm not really a fan of the approach. Flipping the needinfo over to kats or botond to see if it's possible to remove the overscroll effect from input elements.

It should be posssible but we should decide if we want to expose a general mechanism for this (via CSS, for example) or just hard-code it for input fields in gecko. We filed bug 951793 for this a while back but nobody has actually requested it until now. If possible please prioritize this bug using whatever flags are appropriate so we have an idea of how important it is and where it stacks up against our other work.
Depends on: 951793
