Steps to reproduce:

There used to be a preference in about:config to disable the Session Restore feature completely. This preference doesn't work anymore.


Actual results:

Not all users need this feature; many of them can see the huge amount of private data saved as a privacy concern. Furthermore, the browser consumes time and PC resources to do something not needed.


Expected results:

The preference browser.sessionstore.enabled should be brought back. Or, anyway, another method to disable the Session Restore should exist.

For some people this is an unwanted privacy disaster. It used to be possible to disable session restore with a hidden pref, now it is no longer supported. Information can be reduced through various prefs, and it can all be blown away if you also blow away your entire history when you shut down, but you can't otherwise stop the files from being created and readable while you're browsing.
