Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:31.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/31.0 Iceweasel/31.7.0
Build ID: 20150513015018

Steps to reproduce:

Run Guacamole (sample install at https://secure.ucc.asn.au/guacamole/ no login required to replicate) in a normal window, open a connection (which spawns a new tab), then in a private window, go to the same website and open another connection

Actual results:

The new connection (from the private window) opens over the connection in the normal tab.

Expected results:

The new private connection should have opened in a private tab.
Hmm, just realised I'm using iceweasel 31. Will try and replicate in Firefox 38.
Yep, also happens in Firefox 38 on OS X.
Maybe is it related to sandboxing on the network level between window?
Hello James,

1. Are you still encountering this issue on Firefox 42.0 or Nightly 45.0a1?

2. The link you provided gives me a 404 error. Do you have a better link (if question 1 is still in fact true)?

Thank you,

Justin

Hi Justin,

I checked Firefox 42.0 on OS X and it's now working as expected. Also the link has changed to https://secure.ucc.asn.au/login/

Thanks,
