The lockscreen's unlock slider very unresponsive. I must swipe about four times before the slider "catches". I don't think this is a problem with the phone's touchscreen because, once I unlock, the homescreen is very responsive to quick swipes.

For comparison, iOS allows any left-to-right swipe to unlock the lock screen. No need for pinpoint accuracy to grab the slider control.

It was done to avoid mistriggering the handle, not sure, can't remember. Greg do you remember which bug is it?

The most close one is Bug 948789, which shows some unexpected gestures can easily unlock the device. However, I actually knew there was an older one included in a bunch of visual update in v1.2 or v1.3. If this is necessary for UX to design a new one, I may dig into the bugs to find it out.
