I just tried with a test that can be run on b2gdesktop[1], the test passed and I could see what was going on, on the device. I'll try to run the smoketest suite on it.

Here's a list of the manifests affected by Aries. The initial list was made at [1]. I also started to do clean up explained in bug 1189747.

You're removing a whole bunch of skip-if for desktop.
Unless this pull request is part of bug 1189747 too, then I don't see why you're doing this.
