User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:39.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/39.0 Build ID: 20150629114848 Steps to reproduce: Open a wikipedia article with math formula images inside. Open the reader view. Switch to dark reader theme. I.e. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:Displaying_a_formula Paragraph: Formatting using TeX Actual results: The white background color of a math formula image is mostly cropped. In dark reader view it is impossible to read the article. Expected results: Dont crop images with black text color or white background in dark reader view.

I'm not sure what the desired fix here is. The images don't look as bad as in the screenshot for me on OS X: http://imgur.com/eqGZci7 . Ultimately though, they're images in <img> tags that therefore show up with black text, and that's not something we can fix/change. If wikipedia used <svg> directly from HTML instead of sticking them in an <img> tag, it would do better under these circumstances. As I don't think there's a reader mode bug to fix with the display of these images, resolving as invalid.
