When you use old preferences window, the last chosen tab is preserved, but when you switch back to new "inContent" mode, the last chosen tab is NOT preserved. The behavior should be the same.
STR: 1. Make sure you have browser.preferences.inContent = true 2. Click "Options" button in the toolbar/menu [That'll open about:preferences] 3. Select "Security" category 4. Close tab 5. Click "Options" button again Result: Active category is "General" again Expectations: Active category (in this example - "Security") should be preserved

Not sure what the initial implementation was designed for this but it's a good enhancement request.

Feel free to change the bug info. It's clear for me that this is a regression.

If a keyboard shortcut could take one to a predetermined point in the dialog, it would probably shut most of us up. Like, the thing I do all the time is go to Security/Saved Logins. If I could do <cntrl><shift>L or something to go right to that dialog, I'd be happy. And I bet most other people complaining have a specific point they want to go to most of the time (maybe to delete some cookies? Dunno) that would make THEM happy.
