This is annoying/freaky when you're trying to sleep and are very sensitive to light/a light sleeper.

gecko/hal/gonk/GonkHal.cpp improperly fails over into Otoro device support, where it reads "Full\n", which is not "Full" At least that's what I think is happening, I'll resume looking at this tomorrow.

Nick, on which device is this happening? This looks like it is probably a device-specific bug.

I may have accidentally flashed a fix onto the flame 3.0 device, but I believe it is more likely that this effects only Aries 3.0, despite there not being any obviously regressive changes to either the HAL or the battery manager.
