The problem comes from the monitoring of HTTPS on Kaspersky Total Security. go to settings > additional(tab, left side) > Network. look at monitored ports and make sure that "monitored selected ports" are selected. click on the green "select" link find the description HTTPS on port 443 and edit it. select inactive and save. that will solve the problem.

My theory is that any antivirus software that monitors the HTTPS port 443 somehow has changed the connection and made it invalid. Apparently Avast! antivirus has the same problem. you may want to check with antivirus companies to resolve this issue.
David had some issues trying to enter google.com and some other https-secured websites.
I have seen this issue at least tree times on the last week.

His instructions are intended to disable poblematic functionallity on Kaspersky. I'm trying to provide Steeps to reproduce the issue:

Some antiviruses seem to cause issues with HTTPS traffic on Firefox and also other browsers (IE) in Windows.

1. Have Windows Installed.
2. Have any Firefox version installed on your Windows.
3. Have Avast! or Kaspersky installed.
4. Have Antivirus "HTTPS Scanning" tool enabled.
5. Try to enter google.com, as well as some other https-secured websites

Actual results:

some https-secured websites won't load at all, because of mozilla_pkix_error_not_yet_valid_issuer_certificate

Expected results:

Websites should load with no problem at all.

Hint: System date and browser date are both the same, in the present. I think avast! and kaspersky are like modifiyng ssl/tls trafic or certs info.
Someone on reddit had this very similar issue, with avast!
http://www.reddit.com/r/techsupport/comments/35x8bc/windows_8_certificate_errors_on_nearly_every/

Issue was solved by disabling avast! https scanning.
Someone on reddit had this very similar issue, with avast!

Issue was solved by disabling avast! https scanning, just like ocurred on this case.
As I don't have Windows, I'm need-info-inf @alex_mayorga. Maybe he can share some aditional info on this.

Also, I'll try to reach reddit's user attention. :)

Summary: issues with HTTPS → Antiviruses causing issues with HTTPS on Firefox (and other browsers) on Windows
You need to add the Kaspersky certificate in the Firefox library to fix the issue.

About Avast, just disable this useless feature.
¡Hola David!

Have you contacted the support for your AV and let them know of this issue?

Given this is not a problem in Firefox itself but on the AVs, I'm very tempted to mark this RESOLVED INVALID.

What would be the ideal outcome you expect out of this bug from Mozilla's side?

As Loic mentioned, there is an action can be done on the (Firefox) user-side to "solve" this issue. So I think Firefox can help the user by **detecting** such feature being enabled and then maybe give the user a button to *ad the Kaspersky certificate to the Firefox library*
Also, is there in mozilla something like a team that works wit AV teams on this things?
Jorge what do we do in this case? Is this a blocklist candidate?

The instructions as noted in the initial bug report were from Kaspersky technical support. It has something to do with the handshaking that goes on between Kaspersky and Firefox when Kaspersky attempts to monitor the port 443. As noted with Mauricio the issue may be solved by an "ambassador" or team of them to work with AV vendors so that the problem never shows up to begin with and the port can be properly monitored without interference. This is a security issue that both Mozilla and Kaspersky need to work on together. Please don't just dump it off as some non-issue with Firefox that is totally Kaspersky's fault. Firefox is just as much at fault as Kaspersky for mishandling this important step in internet security and I think it would be wise to work with each other on this one.

also, an important step was left out, as I found out later. In the place where you edit port 443 to make the monitoring inactive you must also uncheck the box at the bottom that says "Monitor all network ports for applications that are vulnerable to network attacks." This has currently solved my issue but I think that the monitoring by Kaspersky is a good thing and should not be blocked.
I don't think this is a blocklist candidate. It sounds like a bug on their side, and I'd be surprised if it affected all users since we would be hearing much more about it. I think the best approach in this case is to contact their support people and try to resolve the problem with them. Because of signing we have more visibility into what they're doing and we'll be stricter about what they can or can't do. I'm not sure if these particular add-ons have already been submitted or reviewed, but in the near future we'll be able to request corrections more expediently.
