In the following wiki page, in the faq (https://wiki.mozilla.org/Addons/Extension_Signing#FAQ), there's this question:

This is correct, but only for unlisted, non side-load, add-ons. This context is missing (if this question was a sub-question of the question just above, "How do I get my add-ons signed if they are not hosted on AMO?", I think it would make more sense).

At the moment, the current wording is misleading.
