Looks like we crash inside the QuickView plugin. Try either: 1. Uninstall the QuickView plugin 2. Contact the plugin vendor for an update plugin
Summary: trying to view png crashes moz → trying to view png with QuickView Plugin crashes

ok, i trashed all the .dll's for the Quick View plugin and now it doesnt crash moz when i view PNG's ... Quicktime now handles it. as a side note, if someone reads this knows the answere, could you write me privately and tell me how to tell the quicktime plugin to leave PNG's alone, i much prefer mozilla's native support.

Sorry in advance for the spam. I think one workaround is Mozilla | Edit | Preferences | Navigator | Helper Applications. Remove Quicktime Plugin from file type PNG. I can't remember exactly, but I think the other way is Quicktime Player | Edit | Preferences | Quicktime preferences | Browser Plug-in | MIME Settings. Uncheck the appropriate boxes. Good luck.
