Steps to reproduce:

In 40.0 select options, add-ons, templates, and then options for Adblock Plus 2.6.1.0. In the ratings section there is a button for Filter Preferences.

In 40.0.2 this button is missing.

I've managed to reproduce this issue only on the Nightly version of browser(45.0a1).

On your mentioned 40 and 40.0.2 release versions, this bug didn't reproduce. Also, latest release(42.0) didn't had this issue. The button was present.

The Ad-block plus version I used to test was 2.6.13, for all Firefox versions. Can you please try to reproduce this on the latest release(42.0) with the latest Ad-block version(2.6.13) and provide the results?
