User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64; rv:40.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/40.0
Build ID: 20150812163655

Steps to reproduce:

1. Enable the High-Contrast Black theme in Windows.
2. Launch Thunderbird.
3. Go to Tools -> Settings -> Advanced and click on "Configuration Editor". The "Configuration Editor" window with its alert will appear.
4. Click on "I'll be careful, I promise!".

Actual results:

The alert about void of warranty and the configuration editor itself don't obey the currently used Windows theme (see the attached screenshot (I could attach only one)).

Expected results:

The alert about voiding the warranty and the Configuration Editor should obey the currently used in Windows Theme, as do the other windows of Thunderbird.

Hi. I tested this in Windows 11 with both a light and dark high contrast theme. As of 115, this bug is fixed.

Hi. I tested this in Windows 11 with both a light and dark high contrast theme. As of 115, this bug is fixed.

Fixed in 115 by a different bug?
If so we want to set status_esr115 to fixed

Wayne, is this updated correctly?

I just tested again. In 115 and 123 daily, there is no longer a dialog that opens when you: "Go to Tools -> Settings -> Advanced and click on 'Configuration Editor.'" This may have been fixed prior to ESR 115, as this is a 9 year old bug.

Ah, in that case, we use WORKSFORME - i.e. the problem is gone/works fine but the patch/fixing bug is not known.
