User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.10; rv:40.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/40.0 Build ID: 20150826023504 Steps to reproduce: OS: Fedora 22 Shell: GNOME 3.16.3 Firefox versions: 40 1. Go to about:config in firefox and set value of layout.css.devPixelsPerPx to 2 2. Enable gnome hidpi scaling, using the command: gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface scaling-factor 2 2. Go to a site with flash based videos, such as www.ndtv.com/video/live/channel/ndtv24x7 3. Play a video in default screen size (not in full screen mode) Actual results: 1. video keeps blinking and is not continuous 2. clicking on the pause, play button causes rendering artifacts to show up Expected results: 1. properly rendered video

Sounds like this is a plugin rendering issue, rather than a problem with the video element.
