How is this different from the meta bug for push notifications at bug 1153499?
Is this feature shipping in 42, but there are more improvements coming for 43?

A few had identified UX problems in enabling, after meeting with interested parties, an agreement was formed around enabling for Fx42 and work for future release is being proposed.  Details on the proposal are here: https://mana.mozilla.org/wiki/display/FIREFOX/Push+Notifications

We have now a component for Push Notifications, so this tracking should not be needed any more (and the remaining open bugs seem not to point on it, anyway).
