These are running on try, are totally busted, and can't be hidden without getting a new symbol (I just found out). So this seems fairly urgent.

This has landed on master and been deployed to stage. However, there are things on stage that need more testing, so I could cherrypick this to a hotfix branch and push to prod if needed sooner than Monday/Tuesday.

Stage has bug 1182464 on it, which is awaiting some tweaks in another PR. I'd rather have those (specifically the 35 line limit) before pushing that to prod - and whilst the remaining tweaks are almost complete, they'll want to be tested on stage first.

As such, I think we should cherrypick this bug onto prod in the meantime.

I've cherrypicked the commit in comment 2 (26d17830e20f20db6ba6927816ea154e80f03f97) onto b01ae805ef1eeebaa130e37e5ddf764d3932fde0 (which was current prod [4fdd1f8b1df2cf59c0412facf346c8c2803b2ab4] + bug 1199745), in the branch prod-cherrypick-1201913, and deployed that to prod now.
