Recent Conversations list shows all previous session data. Conversations or room list titles (string data) not appear or are blank but the room entry element is still there and the correct number of rooms are there. This is for both signed in and anonymous modes. Acceptance Criteria: * Retain all data from previous profile session. Technical * may not be saving or retrieving from profile. * possible causes: This may be from killing Firefox Nightly on Linux(VM Guest on Win8.1) with a CNTRL+C from the bash prompt and not closing the browser properly(close button or ALT+F4) and causing data loss. * May be from rebuild or cache purge on profile settings on Firefox start and trying to pull data from the FF profile.

Chris, do you have filestorage.settings.base_dir in your loop-server dev.json set to a non-temporary directory? This feels like an issue with the server not saving the data across restarts of the server/computer.

Mine was unset, meaning it go the default /tmp, which gets cleared on reboot. I've set it to /var/tmp now, and if that fixes things, I propose we should change the default to that so that the default configuration is as close to suitable for development & contribution as we can get it.

We've updated the example dev.json to reference the different directory and added a comment to its bug. I'm going to mark this as WFM assuming this is what Chris' issue was. If we see it again with a persistent directory, then we can re-open & investigate.
