i installed the jre several times, but it doesn't get corporated in mozilla it
seems. I test this with the home page of java.sun because there's always an applet.
I installed the jre delevered by netscape, aswel the one delevered by sun. None
of these seems to enable mozilla to see applet's alive.

tnx,

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.goto sun site
2.press on the applet
3.install jre
4.restart your pc

Actual Results: i still see no applet

Expected Results: that i would see the applet ;-)

i could(t subscribe to bugzila at the moment, because it was down (backing up)
... that's why my email is in the message, if there are particular questions
about the systems or tests i could do ...
do not hesitate to contact

There is a known problem with the Java installer.
from the 0.9.7 release notes(http://www.mozilla.org/releases/mozilla0.9.7/):

 On Windows:
Copy the NPOJI610.DLL from C:\JDK*\jre\bin to "\plugins" directory of your
installation.

After that restart mozilla and/or use Help/About:plugins

Please add a comment in this bug the plugin works now for you.
se comments in bug 100393 for which files to copy to the plugin dir.
