Steps to reproduce:

I want send e-mail with picture on it - no attachment. When I set labl and alternative txt (double click on jpg) and write e-mail on template and after it open that template 


Actual results:

bouth of txt are out of synchro like attach file. I have 45 space between words.


Expected results:

no out f synchro with txt of image.

Piotr, I do NOT think that this is a bug in TB. Perhaps you copied the image and it already had the 45 spaces in the source? 45 spaces cannot occur from nowhere. I do not understand what you mean with "out of sync". I see nothing wrong in your screenshot, only many spaces which TB certainly cannot put there by itself.

Please provide more details, give us precise reproducible instruction like this:
1) compose message in html mode
2) Insert > image > from file..., pick jpg file, enter
3) double click on inline image to edit image properties
4) Change tooltip to...
5) change Alternative text to...
...
... template ...
... double-click on template ...

Oh, do you mean this?

Compose message with inline image.
Set tooltip: "Tooltip, lots of spaces here:#                             #end of tooltip"
Set alternate text: "Alternate text, lots of spaces here:#                          #end of alternate text"

Ctrl+shift+enter to save msg to local folders > outbox.

Open/view message from local folders > outbox. Hover image to see tooltip, look for many spaces which you added.

Actual result:

- multiple consecutive spaces are not shown in tooltip or alternate text (trimmed to one space).
So you will see:

"Tooltip, lots of spaces here:# #end of tooltip"
"Alternate text, lots of spaces here:# #end of alternate text"

Expected result:

- I think this is intentional and good design, multiple spaces do NOT belong into tooltips or alternate texts, so Mozilla (gecko) just trims them away. Tooltips and alternate text are meant to be short and descriptive, multiple spaces carry no information.
