User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:41.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/41.0 Build ID: 20150929144111 Steps to reproduce: Alter defaults for comcast.net accounts Actual results: When originally created, Comcast had not yet enabled IMAPS for all customers. This is now enabled. https://autoconfig.thunderbird.net/v1.1/comcast.net The part for IMAP is commented out. Expected results: Could this bit be uncommented now? IMAPS is now preferred for customers.

Thanks for the bug! I've uncommented IMAP and moved it up above POP3 in the config. Committed revision 148352. Review notes: The canonical xfinity settings are documented here: http://customer.xfinity.com/help-and-support/internet/email-client-programs-with-xfinity-email/ The Thunderbird docs are here (and the previous link in the ISPDB entry that I've now updated redirects here too): http://customer.xfinity.com/help-and-support/internet/setting-up-thunderbird/ Note that we are still placing port 465 for smtps over starttls-based port 587 per our usual rational of reducing send latency.
