Nightly 44 (2015-10-21) on Windows and Linux

STEP
====
1. Open language setting at Google search
2. Set language to "English"
3. Browse https://www.google.com
4. Turn on IME
5. Input 'あ' (type [a])

RESULT
======
On Windows, 'あ' (composition string) is committed.
On Linux, 'あ’ (composition string) is removed.

When typing composition string at first time, search page is modified (search box moves from center to top) at English's google search page.
Summary: Google (English) search commits or cancel composing string at first time → Google (English) search commits or cancels composing string at first time
Also, if language setting of Google to Japanese, this doesn't occur.
I could reproduce it even with www.google.co.jp if the Language settings is "English". Does this really block bug 1246494?
I cannot reproduce this bug on Windows. Is it fixed by bug 1224994?
