Details
having a custom header w/value prevents the message from being sent I have the following line in prefs.js user_pref("mail.compose.other.header","X-message-flag"); In the compose window, choose the custom header from the to/cc/bcc drop down then type in a value for the header. Clicking Send or pressing CTRL-ENTER do nothing (the compose window remains open and the message is not sent). The message refuses to be sent until the header value is removed (having the header in the drop-down doesn't break it). The header name and value seem irrelevant. This is occuring on at least 2002012821 and 2002012508 (mozilla-i686-pc-linux-gnu.tar.gz) Possibly irrelevant information: Slackware 8.0, XFree86 4.10, kernels 2.4.5 and 2.4.17, gnome/gtk

Reporter: Can you try again with a recent nightly build? Build available at: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/nightly/latest/

It's working in 2002031008 and 2002040406 (linux). Messages send normally and when received contain the custom header.
