From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.7) Gecko/20011230
BuildID: 2002012909

When I load the mathml test pages
(e.g.http://www.mozilla.org/projects/mathml/demo/mfrac.xhtml)
more often than desired I get wrong characters displayed.
I have all the recommended math fonts installed in the system, and
without actually logging out, just by restarting Mozilla "half of the time" I am
loading the correct fonts, and half an hour later I seem to be loading the wrong
fonts. I have no clue as to what causes this erratic behaviour.

Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Load one of the MathML test pages
2.
3.

Actual Results: shows wrong characters

Expected Results: Should show math characters
Curious... Do you have the MathFont Property Files installed on your system?

[Also, there are times where fonts don't get installed properly on Linux. Recent
builds will popup an alert to warn when Mozilla doesn't actually see the fonts.]
reporter (Michel): do you still see this problem with a recent build of mozilla
(for example, 1.0)? if so, could you clarify what OS you see it on (reported as
windows 2000, but you used linux to make the report), and answer the question
about whether you have the mathml fonts installed?

if you're not seeing the problem any more, please resolve the bug as WORKSFORME
(or just comment to say that). thanks very much.
no response from reporter for >30 days. resolving WFM. reporter: if you do still
