I wonder if there is an extra window from a previous tests that is being picked up.  It could be racing with GC to remove the window or something.

Sucks that this mainly triggers on osx 10.10 which doesn't seem to run in try builds.

It does, you just have to beg for it. try: -b o -p macosx64 -u web-platform-tests-4[10.10] -t none (or everything from checking every checkbox in the "Restrict tests to platform(s)" section of trychooser if you want all platforms including 10.10)

Or in theory you could add them to an existing try push that has a completed Mac build, with either the treeherder UI from the downarrow menu at the top right of the push, "Add new Jobs", or with http://try-extender.herokuapp.com/, though neither seems to actually work, or with https://mozilla-ci-tools.readthedocs.org/en/latest/scripts.html which will work but requires a fair amount of effort.
