I was not able to reproduce using nightly build on my w520 laptop, win7 64bit. Can you still reproduce using newer version? Also, I can very much recommend you enable the 3gb memory for vista http://dwf.blogs.com/beyond_the_paper/2009/04/enabling-3gb-switch-on-windows-vista.html - it will help extend the useful life of your machine. You might also get better performance out of Firefox. However, note - I think Firefox are dropping support for vista starting in version 53.
