Description:
Touching the screen while the camera is open will cause the viewfinder to freeze. switching to video mode will also cause the viewfinder to freeze, switching the cameras resolution, and changing the picture in a contact will also cause the screen to freeze. Other camera issues that are also occurring are that the pictures are very dark in bad light conditions, there is some kind of "fish eye" effect occurring in the camera, and the front camera is disabled. We are also getting "Camera is in use by another app" when opening the camera from some location even if no other app is open.

Notes:
Alexandre says this is an upstream issue. 

Repro Steps:
1) Update a Aries to 20160118142711
2) Open camera
3) Tap the screen to focus the camera
4) Observe camera freezing

Actual:
The camera freezes when focusing

Expected:
It is expected that the camera is able to focus successfully.
