Steps to reproduce:

In the create folder box enter:

E.B.C.L.C



Actual results:

Three sub-folders are created under a root folder named E:

E/B/C/L/C


Expected results:

Yes, if you're an object-oriented programmer/engineer (and who isn't these days), creating a folder name in the create folder box with name1.name2.name3 -> folder1/folder2/folder3/... makes some sense a la class names.

But really, most users aren't nerds and if I want to create a folder called "E.B.C.L.C"
instead of "East Bay Community Law Center" I should be allowed to do it.

The above behavior is just too nerdy.

I've come across this one too and found it annoying.
