In bug 1230222 we're wanting to have consumers of Treeherder's API set a User Agent, to make issues (or eg deprecation of a particular endpoint) easier to track. In addition to using treeherder-node (whose equivalent UA changes are being made in bug 1191403), mozilla-taskcluster makes direct requests to the API: https://github.com/mozilla/mozilla-taskcluster/blob/197f81355558a346784d104f47c98a18a4716194/src/bin/import_repositories.js#L14
