Steps to reproduce:

I try to use messenger (chat in thnuderbird) for connecting to an xmpp server through a bosh service.

It is usefull when there is a firewall between the thunderbird client and the xmpp server because via the bosh service, the xmpp traffic is over https -> no firewall problems.


Actual results:

Messenger no support connection to an xmpp server through a bosh service (xmpp over https).


Expected results:

It could be usefull to connection to an xmpp server through a bosh service (xmpp over https).
