possible problem would be:

A) i have no LDAP server at all configured, dont need to, but causing this to be
a problem.

B) JS error, not complete, or XUL file is missing.

showing build 2-13-03 w2k, after clicking on Advanced search.

this search dialog appears to be fixed in build 2-15-03 w2k.  and coming up.

it seems to be working in the next build fine.
