Details

(Whiteboard: [fxgrowth][onboarding])

In an effort to improve user experience during onboarding, we'd like to increase engagement with self-help content which should enable users to engage with more features in Firefox via the Getting Started page. We'll be running A/B tests with the content on this page via Optimizely.

Target audience
Browser: Firefox, desktop
Language: en-US
Traffic allocation: 5%

Mike and/or Kadir, we want to run A/B tests on the get-started-firefox. Does this work conflict with anything you'll be doing in the next 3 weeks? We want to tests the following hypotheses:

1 If we highlight features users care about like private browsing and book marking up front on the page, then more users will engage more.

2 If we make the article start high up on the page users will not have to scroll to see the full table of contents and will engage more.

3 If we add a highly visible call to action at the top of the content then users will engage more.

We're open to any/all feedback. Thanks!

This doesn't conflict with anything I'm going to be doing in the next 3 weeks.

Spoke with Kadir yesterday. He did not have any conflicts with this specific test. We're good to go.
