Steps to reproduce:

1. Open Firefox (I am using version 45+)
2. Navigate to www.facebook.com
3. Log into Facebook
4. Search for a profile in the search bar on top within Facebook 
5. Select a profile to view



Actual results:

Every time I select a profile from the list of search results Windows System notification sound is generated.


Expected results:

The sound should not be generates/played. It didn't happen before version 45, and still doesn't in IE or Chrome.
You probably have an annoying extension. Try Safe Mode: https://support.mozilla.org/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode
