2. Open Console
3. Select a word, then click on empty area below messages in Console

AR:  Selected range doesn't gets canceled
ER:  Selected range should be canceled for everything to work fine. See (4) in bug 1239992 comment 11

This is regression from bug 1237368. Regression range:

I think this is because of -moz-user-select: text on the #output-container but it should be on #output-wrapper
