Details

(Whiteboard: [needinfo 2016/04/18 to reporter])

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:45.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/45.0
Build ID: 2016030500

Steps to reproduce:

I enter in a WebRTC room with internal audio disable, select the Headset microphone as the shared device, and it doesn't work.

In case you disable the internal microphone during the session headset one continues working.

Actual results:

Input for selected device doesn't work.

Expected results:

The input selected as it's not disable should work as normal. It works for example in Chrome.
Component: Untriaged → WebRTC: Audio/Video
Product: Firefox → Core
Please explain what "internal audio disable" is, exactly.

Also: what OS? what version of Firefox?

It would also help if you could provide logs with environment vars of:

NSPR_LOG_MODULES=GetUserMedia:4,MediaManager:4,webrtc_trace:65535
WEBRTC_TRACE_FILE=nspr
NSPR_LOG_FILE=some temp file for the log

To the reporter, please see comment 1. If we don't get more info soon, I'll need to resolve this as incomplete due to lack of additional information.

Ok, i will try to reproduce again and send you some logs, buut in general with disable i mean selecting off in the input volume of the Internal Microphone.
@kaderssen -- Have you been able to reproduce this? Like I said back in May, we need more info to proceed or I'll need to close this as incomplete (i.e. not actionable). Thanks.
As we haven't received the requested information this is not actionable. Feel free to re-open this bug when you provide the information.
