Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:45.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/45.0
Build ID: 20160407164938

Steps to reproduce:

I have FF 45.0.2, Windows 10. FF is configured to "Always ask me where to save files". On start-up, FF is configured to "Show my windows and tabs from last time"

1. Download file.
2. Create folder to save file in.
3. Save file.
4. Download next file.
5. Create new folder...

Actual results:

As soon as I attempt to create the 2nd new folder FF locks up, requires Task Manager to end task, and then sometimes cannot properly recover. This is consistent, repeatable behaviour. Create 1st folder justfinethankyou, 2nd attempt to create new folder locks up.

Expected results:

I should have been able to create new folder, save file and continue on to the next download..
WFM with FF48 64bits on Win 7.

Are you using 3rd-party download manager?
Component: Untriaged → Networking: File
Product: Firefox → Core
In reply to Loic - I have no third party download managers.
Component: Networking: File → Download Manager
