User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Fedora; Linux x86_64; rv:46.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/46.0
Build ID: 20160512103502

Steps to reproduce:

Multiple Firefox windows are open on two monitors. Click on any button from the menu bar in any of the Firefox windows.

The menu appears in the wrong monitor. Move the window any distance, then click the button and the window appears in the correct location. Then close the menu and click the button again and the menu again appears in the wrong monitor.

Expected results:

The menu should open near the menu button.

Is this the same issue as bug 1269786 perhaps?

What is the window manager and libgtk-3 version?
Similar bugs have been reported for perhaps 10 years. The detailed descriptions vary. I have not seen a description exactly like this one.

I am running the cinnamon desktop in fedora 23. All versions are at the levels in the repositories as of two days ago.

Lightdm appears in the ps -ax output, but GDMSESSION=cinnamon.

The installed gtk's are 3.18.9-1.fc23 and 2.24.30-1.fc23
