Steps to reproduce:

On a Windows 7 or 10 64bit machine open Firefox

Navigate to www.aol.com

Click the mail icon and sign in to account

Under Options > Mail Settings in the aol page ensure "Always read mail in a new window" is selected.

Open a message once and it is displayed properly in a new window. Close the new window.  Open the same message again and it will flash briefly and disappear leaving a blank page.


Actual results:

The second time you open the same message when "Always read mail in a new window" option is selected in aol preferences the window is blank.

Starting Firefox in Safe Mode, Add-Ons Disabled, Hardware Acceleration Disabled, had no effect. Reproducible on 3 computers on 3 different networks and two different AOL accounts. 


Expected results:

The second time a message is opened the message should appear.

I can confirm the issue is reproducible also on the latest Nightly.
If this is a regression, at least is not a recent one since the issue is reproducible also on Firefox 20.0.1.
