3. Close tabs from Step 1 and Step 2.
4. Type "http://addon" in urlbar

AR:  Urlbar shows irrelevant suggestions - links from Step 1 and Step 2, and doesn't explain why.
ER:  Either X (preferable), or Y:
 X) Do not show irrelevant suggestions as requested in bug 1091958
 Y) Highlight "addon" inside suggestions to at least somehow explain illogical behavior

It always did, it's how it was designed. "http" is stripped from search terms, to provide a broader result set. The reasoning is simple, non-technical users may end up writing http thinking it's necessary to find a site, and could not figure our https is different.

Yes, we should indeed do this.

Note, this is not a regression of the new design, I'm pretty sure it has always been like that.
